I replaced a ceiling fan / light that was attached to a wall dimmer switch, with a light pendant. The regulator has an on / off switch and a slider to control the brightness of light. The regulator does not control the fan before and only controlled the fan light. The switch is activated during installation and had to be restarted. I used one of the hotbeds of fan pendant light again. While the new light switches on / off with the switch, not weak. The light is at its brightest, regardless of where you move the slider. Is the voltage regulator is damaged? Should I replace it? If not, why the regulator does not work on my new pendant light when it worked 30 minutes before the fan and the light bulb itself?
